PAPER: Fedrigoni Arena Smooth 250g/m2. Uncoated paper, FSC® certified. Smooth finish. Paper color bright ivory.

STORY: MOUNT FUJI, MIDDLE OF SUMMER AT SUNSET
The deep, rich colors of sunsets on the mount Fuji are a magical sight. The ‘asagao’ flower (morning glory) means “brief love” as it only blooms in the morning and cool time. ‘Tombo’ (dragonfly) are symbols of courage and strength while the chidori birds (plover) symbolize perseverance. While traditionally classed as a winter motif, a ‘chidori’ pattern is commonly featured on summer items to evoke the coolness of winter as it is refreshing. During the ‘natsu matsuri’ (summer festival) people gather and engage with their local community, watching ‘hanabi’ (fireworks), eating ‘kakigori’ (shaved ice) and ‘suica’ (watermelon). There’s nothing like a refreshing watermelon to beat the heat of summer!

The 'Rhythmic Seasons of Mount Fuji' is a compilation of Risography prints that showcases the changing seasons of Mount Fuji, inspired by the Ukiyoe style. The collection is still a work in progress and will continue to feature new seasonal views. Each piece features unique design patterns and vibrant seasonal colors, inviting the viewer to reflect on the rhythmic changes of nature and the transient nature of life.
