Sekki, Japanese seasonal calendar

The Sekki, also known as the Twenty-Four Solar Terms, divides the year into 24 segments based on seasonal changes, such as solstices, equinoxes, and other natural phenomena. Each segment is marked by a specific event or activity that reflects the characteristics of that season. The Japanese seasonal calendar doesn't always align with the Gregorian seasonal calendar.

My goal in starting this digital series, is to capture the essence of each season and translate it into a unique pattern and color palette that can be used in various design projects.
