Love Journeys

The collection "Love Journeys" showcases a diverse range of artworks that each tell a unique story of love. From riding through unpredictable terrains and navigating the highs and lows of the journey, each piece depicts the many facets of love. The collection features a blend of traditional and modern elements, highlighting the complex nature of love in our contemporary world. These artworks serve as a reminder that love is not a one-size-fits-all concept, but rather a complex and multifaceted experience that can be expressed in countless ways.

Summer ride

Using the handcrafted screenprinting process, my artwork aims to capture the powerful energy that fuels our passions and the sense of liberation that accompanies conquering our fears.

Love is an ever-changing force, much like the wild waves of the sea or the challenging ascent of a mountain. It is a journey that takes us on a thrilling ride of emotions, obstacles, and personal growth. Just like riding a motorcycle on an open road, love can make us feel unstoppable.

Love story #1

The handcrafted screenprint captures a modern wedding proposal taking place in autumn.
The 'Tako' (octopus) depicted in the piece embodies flexibility, unpredictability, and sensuality. As a creature that adapts to any situation, it resides in the deep ocean, symbolizing profound emotions. The ‘Tsuru’ origami (cranes) represent happiness, with their long life span and ability to soar high. The Mount Fuji and the Moon in the piece stands for harmony of opposing forces, with one signifying stability and the other representing change.

Love story #2

The handcrafted screenprint artwork depicts the end of summer and raises the question of whether the train is arriving or departing.
Japan is a unique blend of tradition and modernity, where even the iconic Mount Fuji is intertwined with electric cables. A Kimono featured in the piece tells the story of its wearer, highlighting the importance of the uniqueness of each journey. The parrots are symbols of longevity, love, and fertility. Meanwhile, the 'Botan' flower (peony) represents the feminine ideal, with its delicate appearance and dignified posture. Unlike other flowers, the 'Botan' does not bend in the face of adversity, embodying a sense of resilience and strength.
